The city of Varna is located in north-eastern Bulgaria, on the Black Sea coast. Varna is the third largest city in Bulgaria and the largest on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with a population of about 330,000 people. The climate is temperate continental with a strong impact on the Black Sea, characterized by a cool summer with a temperature of 28-30 degrees and a much colder and windy winter than on the southern Black Sea coast.
