The low-cost European airline Wizzair will start direct flights from Sofia to St. Petersburg.
In mid-January 2020, the airline's management announced 4 new destinations to / from Saint Petersburg: Vilnius, Bratislava, Bucharest and Sofia.
The flights are scheduled to start operating in the summer of 2020. At this time, these new destinations have not yet been confirmed in the official ticketing system and it is not possible to save or buy them. They are expected to be available in the ordering system by spring. This will be the first low-cost line between Sofia and Russia.
