According to data from the National Statistical Institute, among the big cities in Bulgaria, the most expensive real estate of the old fund in Burgas - by 22.1% per year. With new construction, the largest increase in prices is observed for real estate in Stara Zagora.
For the first quarter, prices for apartments and houses in Burgas are 19.5% higher than for the same period last year. The rise in price for new construction is 13%.
The increase in real estate prices in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Ruse is also significant.
The city of Stara Zagora occupies the second place in terms of price growth. Real estate there has risen in price by an average of 16.4% compared to last year.
Varna is in third place, with an increase of 11.1%. Here, prices for existing apartments and houses rose by 15.2% over the year, while new construction prices rose by 2.7%. However, this data does not include sales at resorts.
The capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, is in 6th place. There is an average price increase of 7.2% per year. Prices for new construction increased by 1.3%, and for secondary housing - by 11.4%.
An interesting fact is that in five of the 6 largest cities in the country, there was an increase in prices for resale property, and not for new construction. On average in the country, the growth in property prices is 9.5% per year, while prices for new construction rose by 4.9%, and for secondary housing - by 12.3%.
