Burgas is awarded a prestigious tourism award

For the first time in the history of the city a prestigious award for tourism "Destination of the Year" of the magazine "Destinations" and the National Information Agency bgtourism.bg was awarded to the town of Burgas. The award was presented personally to Mayor Dimitar Nikolov by the owner of the media and the tourist portal Ruslan Yordanov.

 The main contribution to winning the award are the thematic weekends organized by the seaside town in 2020 and attracted the attention and choice of thousands of tourists who rediscovered Burgas and the region as an attractive destination to visit and holiday. The jury cast their votes in favor of the city of Burgas, was impressed by the interesting and innovative advertising campaign organized by the municipality. The first annual tourism awards of the magazine and the online tourism platform included a total of 8 categories.
